Andy Lanyi is the founder of Trupp Property Management and an experienced real estate investor with a portfolio of multifamily properties. Through smart investing and efficient systems, he has built a stream of passive income while maintaining a stress-free management approach.

My Story
Andy served in the fire service for 30 years before retiring in 2020. Throughout his career, he built a reputation for reliability, leadership, and commitment—values that now serve as the foundation of his approach to property management and real estate investing. He and his wife, married since 1993, have built a strong family foundation and are proud parents of two daughters, both registered nurses.
After transitioning from his career in the fire service, Andy built his real estate portfolio from the ground up. In the early stages, he personally handled every aspect of his properties—from maintenance and repairs to tenant communication and day-to-day operations. He put in the time, effort, and elbow grease required to truly understand what it takes to run successful rental properties.
As his portfolio grew, Andy strategically implemented systems, partnered with trusted contractors, and adopted professional property management software to streamline operations and improve efficiency. This evolution allowed him to scale his investments while maintaining high standards and consistent performance.
Today, Andy owns and operates four multifamily apartment properties in Southern California, totaling 50 units, along with a successful short-term rental. His experience includes executing value-add strategies such as developing multiple accessory dwelling units (ADUs) within one of his apartment communities to increase both cash flow and property value.
In addition to managing his own portfolio, Andy has participated as a limited partner in eight real estate syndications, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both active and passive real estate investing.
